Brett is a Certified Sommelier through the National Wine School. Brett leads custom wine tasting and pairing classes throughout the country, offers winery tours, and he also serves as a consultant for clients, curating their private wine collections.

Brett's love and appreciation for learning about wine from vine to glass began in college when he was living in the heart of the Central California wine country. During grape harvest season, Brett and his friends decided to try their hands at making their own wine with grapes from local vineyards. After that successful experiment, Brett was hooked. He deepened his wine knowledge and experience working in the tasting room at Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande, California.

After graduating from college, he became a wine distributor for Epic Wines & Spirits in Los Angeles (now Southern Glazer’s), where he worked closely with some of the top chefs and sommeliers in the high-end Beverly Hills restaurant scene, hosting lively wine pairing dinners and teaching an array of engaging wine tasting classes.

Brett enjoys taking family and friends on winery tours to experience some of the best wines in his own backyard, in nearby Maryland and Virginia. When he is not teaching wine classes, Brett loves to travel, read, and cook up a feast with his wife and two daughters.
